GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN
Are you creative, visually driven and excited to bring ideas to life within a dynamic and concept-driven environment? We are looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for graphic design to support our creative team.
As a Graphic Design Intern at New Amsterdam Surf Association, you will support our team in creating visual assets across different projects. You will assist in developing graphic concepts and contribute to a wide range of visual materials within a fast-growing fashion brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to the development of graphic concepts for campaigns, social media, lookbooks and other visual outputs
- Create layouts, illustrations and supporting graphics that align with our brand identity
- Build and maintain brand assets and visuals for internal and external communication
- Participate in brainstorm sessions and creative meetings, contributing your ideas
REQUIREMENTS:
- You are currently enrolled in a Graphic Design, Visual Communication or similar design-related program
- You are 18 years or older
- You are available for at least 32 hours per week, for a minimum of 4 months
- Strong sense of aesthetics, typography, composition and brand identity
- Proficient in Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign required; additional software is a plus)
- Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is not required)
- Confident in creating and presenting moodboards

FASHION DESIGN INTERN
Are you passionate about fashion design, have a good eye for current trends and are you skilled in technical drawing? Want to see your designs come to life in a dynamic and creative environment? We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a love for design to help our design team.
As a Fashion Design Intern for New Amsterdam Surf Association, you will dive into the creative process, helping us bring our designs to life. You'll work closely with our design team and be a part of the design process from start to finish.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Collaborate with our design team to create detailed technical drawings
● Assist in the development of the collection from concept to a final product
● Participate in brainstorming sessions and fittings where you contribute creative ideas
● Preparation of mood boards, collection overviews and fabric archive
● Help with the organization and maintenance of our design archive
REQUIREMENTS:
● You are currently enrolled or have a bachelor in Fashion Design
● You are 18 years or older
● You are available 32 hours a week, for at least 4 months
● You have an eye for detail, fashion, trends, and can translate them into concepts that fit within our brand
● Strong skills in technical drawing and (digital) fashion illustration
● Experience with Adobe Illustrator is required, other software is a plus
● Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in both Dutch and English
● Able to work independently as well as being a flexible member in a team, easily adapting to a fast paced environment whilst working in a structured manner
● You are enthusiastic, think ‘out-of-the box’, not afraid to present your ideas and
possess problem-solving skills

Are you passionate about marketing & branding, do you have a good eye for current trends and the online world? Want to see what it takes to create the project and work with in creative environment? We're looking for someone with creative and productional skills.
As a Creative Marketing Production Intern for New Amsterdam Surf Association, you will dive into the creative process, and helping us bring our projects to life. You'll work closely with our marketing & branding team.
RESPONSIBILITY
● Assisting in managing our e-commerce platform and ensuring all website content is up-to-date.
● Supporting the marketing team in the creation and uploading of social advertising and e-mail marketing campaig
● Assisting with content creation for social media, including scheduling posts, writing captions, and sourcing visual assets
● Collaborating on the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including seasonal promotions, collaborations, and
launches
REQUIREMENTS
● You are currently enrolled or have a bachelor in a creative school.
● You are 18 years or older
● You are available 32 hours a week, for at least 4 months
● You have an eye for detail, trends, and production.
● Strong skills in excel and Indesign.
● Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in both Dutch and English
● Able to work independently as well as being a flexible member in a team, easily adapting to a fast paced environment whilst working in a structured manner
● You are enthusiastic, think ‘out-of-the box’, not afraid to present your ideas and possess problem-solving skills
